Villa Simius

This idyllic Sardinian escape is renown for those in the know, the beautiful little village where the villa is located comes to lite in the summer, conveniently situated halfway between the capital city of Cagliari and the picturesque town of Villasimius.

The villa design, approached with research in the historical context, results in an eclectic sea-home style with wooden pieces and terracotta floors, with unique touches of stone lending a rustic feel to the interiors. Elements of classic Italian residential architecture, such as the handmade tiles in Sardinian style and the terracotta floors, are combined with contemporary touches, like white concrete walls, modern tiles and decor. Materials include handmade ceramic, marble and granite stone locally sourced. Modern and very comfortable, this bohemian-chic retreat is full of light with a solid sea-lite vibe, blending traditional and contemporary Italian architecture. The house is built in stucco, wood, cotto with extensive use of local stones; it has a terrace with sitting area, stone tables, patios all with a sea view and an alfresco area for 20 guests.
