About this property

The first feeling you have arriving at the villa is the strong energy emanating from a wild and uncontaminated place.

Landscape and nature do the rest: the rock cavity in the basement and the breathtaking views towards the lake.
Be ready to enjoy and relax in our unique pool among the quarry rocks.

This luxury villa in a peaceful oasis nestled in an ancient quarry on the shores of Lake Como. Located only 6 km from Como and few steps from the historic center of Torno, is the ideal villa for anyone looking for privacy and tranquillity. No neighbours, no noise, the right place to stop the watch and take "your" real time.

It is the perfect place for regenerating the mind and experiencing the incomparable beauty of its surroundings: the ancient stone quarry, the restored rustic old stone house, the rock wall, and the spectacular open view of the basin of Lake Como overlooking the rooftops of the village of Torno, one of the most picturesque and characteristic villages on Lake Como.

From within the villa you are immersed in the atmosphere of the lake but from the garden you have a complete and captivating view of it, day and night, both in beautiful weather and in stormy weather.

The villa is very private and surrounded by conservation land, wood and rocks. The priority is the relationship between the inside and outside living space. All the traditional materials were used in a contemporary way.
Nestled in a park about 5000 square meters, with natural woods and terraced gardens surrounded by the rocks from the ancient quarry.
The restoration was done preserving the original structure and materials wherever possible. It was restructured and completed in line with contemporary tastes, system efficiency and comfort.  Erika, the owner of the villa, has decorated the interior with great care,  enriched it by using various pieces of her own art and by pieces of primitive art.

This place actually was a quarry where the famous local stone “pietra di Moltrasio” was extracted and used to build many stately homes (and the villa as well in many differents parts of the of the walls and the walkways).

450€ final cleaning not included in the rates.
800€ cash deposit to be paid at check-in to cover possible damages and otherwise returned at check-out.

Also,  the photos  no. 39 and no. 41 should be removed, as they show the old sail. In general, the photos are mixed in strange way. For instance, the photos of the kitchen are not in consecutive  order, please have a look when you have time.

I remain at your disposal for any further information or clarification and look forward to hearing from you.
