Overlooking Lake Como and occupying the site of a former medieval watchtower, the villa commands one of the finest views in Europe. This liberty style villa, built in 1909, has been fully restored to exceptional standards, offering 1.231m² of living space. This includes: 8 double bedrooms (6 en-suite), a drawing room, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a study, a media room, a, bar, two roof terraces, a yoga/wellness room, a pool house and an entertainment area. The villa sits in lush 4.5 acres gardens, offering peace and tranquillity.
At 881 metres above the lake and with no close neighbours, the villa is an oasis. The views from our south facing villa are truly stunning - a combination of the wide blue lake and the green mountain vistas, rounded off with glorious golden sunsets. The view can be enjoyed from the balconies of every bedroom, the villa’s main terrace, the extraordinary pool house with its green roof and the infinity pool. Also, from the exceptional yoga/wellness room that has been carved out of the cliff face, the roof top terraces, the bar and entertainment area.
The villa sleeps comfortably 14 people - additional children’s beds are available. All bedroom suites are designed in a contemporary, stylish manner blending in with the villa’s elegant features. An elevator connects the 3 main floors, the caretaker's apartment and the laundry room in the basement.
There is an attractive dining room and an alfresco dining area under a pergola on the huge terrace overlooking the lake. A few steps from the main house one finds the 22 - meter long heated infinity pool with a Jacuzzi attached, offering picture perfect 360° degrees views over the lake. There is also a well-appointed pool house which, when the full-length windows are folded away, seems to float over the pool. It has a kitchen, an island bar and a comfortable seating area.
There are many sunbathing spots around the pool and on the pool house's 'green' roof. There are two additional alfresco dining locations, a changing room and a toilet.
Carved out of the rock-face is a quite stunning yoga/wellness facility. This large room with impressive views down the lake, can easily accommodate 8 yoga practitioners side by side. It has an area with gym equipment from Technogym that includes the Kinesis cable weight training system, a rowing machine, an exercise bike, dumbbells, stretch bands and exercise balls, as well as an ensuite toilet, steam room and shower.
The villa has its own luxury boat moored at the bottom of the funicular in Argegno. Our Axopar 28 Brabus boat offers both speed and comfort and so is a perfect boat for water sports or simply enjoying an afternoon relaxing on the lake. Tomas is a qualified boat captain and will be happy to be your skipper.

The villa is located just 75 minutes drive from Milan Malpensa International Airport and 60 minutes from Lugano International Airport. The pretty mountain village of Pigra is only 300 metres away and the popular lakeside village of Argegno can be reached within 4 minutes from the cable car station located 500 metres from the villa gates. Pigra has a couple of restaurants and is a perfect base for hiking and mountain biking. Argegno provides a wide range of restaurants, our own private boat mooring and a scheduled river taxi service, ideal for exploring all that Lake Como has to offer.
