This is a fully staffed villa hosting up to 20 guests, in a private park with a heated pool, gym, tennis court and staff accommodation. Built with grandeur in 1901 by an American admiral, totally reconstructed in 2005 and sleekly refurbished in 2019. The interior designer's creative style features American and Italian pieces of art from the 1950s to the 2000s.
The main house has nine bedrooms all flooded with sunlight, with two or three large windows overlooking the lake and gardens. Rooms are set over four floors, all accessible by a private a lift. There is a guardian cottage with three double rooms, hosting the resident staff, with enough space for the guests' private staff as well.
The gardens are rich and mature. Azaleas, ginkgo trees, red acacia, a bamboo forest and an olive grove from which the family presses their own oil. 
The Kitchen Gardens offer an abundance of fresh produce that will make its way to the dining table, like courgettes and tomatoes, salad leaves, fragrant rosemary, basil and sage. In late summer you have sweet grapes, in autumn apples, and cherries ripen after spring.
