Portofino with its palette of blues, pine and olive trees and tiny harbour is one of the most alluring destinations of the Italian Riviera. This villa stands high on a hill, set on 12 acres of land, overlooking the piazza and harbour, offering unparalleled views to the bay with its chic atmosphere. Access to the property might strike as a bit unconventional but it is definitely thrilling: guests go through a 200m tunnel carved into the sea rock of Portofino, and from there they take a lift to the entrance gate, 80 meters up.
A pathway through an impressive garden leads to the house built on three levels (ca. 60 stairs). As befits a property of this stature, the interiors have been exquisitely decorated with stylish furnishings throughout. Occupying the first floor is the spacious master bedroom, dining room and living room which is decorated in a serene blue leading to the terrace framed by French doors. The remaining 4 bedrooms are on the ground floor with direct access to the garden.
Moving on to the yard, you can find a bar carved out from the rock and the beautiful gardens full of blooming flowers and tall trees. There are 4 outdoor areas, one of which has a beautiful vine-covered pavilion on a plateau. The property, due to its position, is, unfortunately, not recommended for guests with walking difficulties of any sort. A porter service will take care of your luggage upon arrival and departure.
